About This Position
Oracle is hiring a Data Center Managing Counsel to work remotely from anywhere in the United States, supporting the fast‑growing Data Center and Networking legal team. This senior attorney role will partner with Oracle stakeholders to drive the expansion of Oracle Cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and strategic counsel on data‑center operations, cloud infrastructure, and networking agreements.
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, service level agreements, and vendor arrangements.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks related to regulatory compliance, data privacy, and security standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and finance teams to align legal strategy with business objectives.
- Lead internal training on data‑center legal issues and stay current on emerging laws and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of experience handling complex technology, cloud, or data‑center transactions.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and cross‑functionally in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Compensation
Base salary: $206,886.45 per year.
Location
Remote/telecommuting – candidates must reside in the United States; the role supports Oracle’s Washington, D.C. headquarters.
