Customer Solution Architect – Teradata – Charleston, Kanawha County, US

Teradata is seeking a seasoned Customer Solution Architect to join our Charleston team. This role blends deep technical expertise with strategic consulting to design and deliver cloud‑analytics solutions that empower our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable data and AI architectures.
• Design end‑to‑end solutions on Teradata’s cloud analytics platform, including data integration, warehousing, and advanced analytics.
• Lead proof‑of‑concepts, workshops, and technical presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to align solution designs with roadmap and market needs.
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to internal knowledge bases and reusable solution assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing data warehousing, cloud analytics, or AI solutions.
• Proficiency with SQL, data modeling, ETL tools, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence C‑level executives.
• Teradata certification or hands‑on experience with Teradata Vantage is a plus.

Compensation

Base salary: $163,439.64 per year.
