About This Position
Job Summary
Teradata is seeking a Customer Solution Architect to join our Boise, Ada County team. In this role you will design and deliver cloud‑analytics solutions that help customers harness data for AI‑driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales, engineering and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable architecture designs on Teradata’s cloud platform.
- Lead technical workshops, proof‑of‑concepts and demos that showcase data integration, analytics and trusted AI capabilities.
- Develop solution blueprints, data models and migration strategies that align with industry best practices and security standards.
- Provide ongoing technical guidance and mentorship to implementation teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for data warehousing, big‑data processing and AI/ML integration, influencing product road‑maps based on customer feedback.
- Maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, ensuring successful adoption and measurable business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise data platforms, preferably in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with SQL, data modeling, ETL tools, and modern analytics languages (Python, R, Spark).
- Hands‑on experience with Teradata Vantage or comparable analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and a passion for helping customers achieve data‑driven success.
Compensation & Benefits
