About This Position
Job Summary
Nelnet is seeking a Curriculum Parent Engagement Specialist to join its FACTS division in Douglas, Juneau, US. This role will design and deliver curriculum‑aligned parent engagement programs for K‑12 schools, supporting over 11,500 districts worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement parent‑focused curriculum resources and workshops that align with state standards.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and district leaders to identify engagement needs and tailor solutions.
- Facilitate virtual and in‑person training sessions for families, ensuring accessibility and cultural relevance.
- Analyze feedback and performance data to continuously improve program effectiveness.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert on parent communication best practices, providing guidance to internal sales and support teams.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of educational technology trends and integrate them into engagement strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Design, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years experience in K‑12 curriculum development, parent outreach, or educational consulting.
- Proven ability to create engaging instructional materials for diverse audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience presenting to large groups.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions.
- Proficiency with learning management systems and virtual collaboration tools.
