Job Summary
Nelnet is seeking a Curriculum Parent Engagement Specialist to join its FACTS division in Five Points, Wake County, US. This full‑time role supports over 11,500 K‑12 schools by strengthening partnerships with parents and enhancing curriculum delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement parent‑engagement strategies aligned with curriculum goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and district leaders to create resources that help families support student learning at home.
- Conduct workshops, webinars, and community events to educate parents on curriculum changes, technology tools, and best practices.
- Gather and analyze feedback from families to inform continuous improvement of curriculum materials.
- Maintain accurate records of engagement activities and report outcomes to senior leadership.
- Serve as a liaison between FACTS product teams and school districts to ensure parent‑focused features are prioritized.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Design, Communications, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in K‑12 education, parent outreach, or curriculum development.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with learning management systems and data‑driven reporting tools.
- Passion for fostering equitable educational experiences for students and families.
Compensation & Benefits
