Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient care in ICU settings under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator.
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and operating specialised equipment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and healthcare assistants, promoting best practice and continuous learning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with regulatory and hospital standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, safety audits and patient education programmes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Current New York State RN registration and a valid licence to practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an ICU or high‑acuity setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and competence with ventilators, infusion pumps and cardiac monitoring.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and critical‑thinking abilities.
