Job Summary

Outland is hiring a Crew Leader for the Outland Youth Employment Program in Canada. This 7‑week summer contract (July‑August 2026) is a live‑in role at a remote camp where you will supervise and mentor youth participants.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day supervision and ensure safety of youth “Rangers” throughout the program.
• Model professional behaviour, workplace expectations, and healthy group living.
• Plan and lead daily activities, workshops, and outdoor tasks.
• Maintain camp facilities, enforce camp rules, and respond to emergencies.
• Support youth personal development, conflict resolution, and skill building.
• Collaborate with program staff to deliver a high‑quality employment experience.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience working with youth in a residential or camp setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to live on‑site for the full 7‑week period.
• First aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Physical fitness for outdoor activities and ability to work in remote conditions.
