RAM Custom Crating is hiring a Crate Pallet Assembler for its St. Louis County warehouse located in Saint Charles, Saint Charles County, US. This full‑time, non‑exempt role pays $30,359.24 per year and involves building custom wooden crates and pallets to exact customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct custom wooden crates, pallets, and packaging solutions according to detailed engineering drawings and client requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood components using hand and power tools safely and accurately.
• Inspect finished products for quality, structural integrity, and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain an organized work area, track inventory of wood, hardware, and supplies, and report shortages to the Operations Manager.
• Collaborate with shipping and logistics teams to stage completed crates for loading and delivery.
• Follow all company safety policies, participate in regular safety trainings, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior experience in wood production, crate building, or pallet assembly (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (table saws, drills, nail guns).
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lb repeatedly.
• Reliable attendance, good communication skills, and a team‑oriented mindset.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; vocational training in carpentry is a plus.
