Job Summary

Time Manufacturing Company is seeking a Cost Accountant to join its finance team in Roanoke, Denton County, TX. This role supports cost analysis, inventory valuation, and financial reporting for a global leader in vehicle‑mounted aerial lifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product costs, material, labor, and overhead to determine accurate unit costs.
• Prepare monthly cost variance reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain standard cost databases and update cost models as product designs change.
• Support inventory valuation, work‑in‑process accounting, and cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering teams to improve cost efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Detail‑oriented with a solid understanding of inventory accounting and cost allocation methods.
