IDS International is hiring a Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) for an OCONIV (outside the continental United States) assignment, based out of Arlington, Arlington County, US. This full‑time role offers a fixed annual salary of $71,998 and provides the opportunity to support government and defense projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on‑site construction surveillance, ensuring contractor compliance with contract specifications, drawings, and schedules.
• Document daily construction activities, produce accurate reports, photographs, and video evidence for client review.
• Identify and flag non‑conforming work, coordinate corrective actions with contractors, and track resolution progress.
• Maintain secure handling of classified or sensitive information in accordance with government standards.
• Support audits and inspections by providing timely, verifiable data to government and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and safety officers to ensure seamless project execution.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction surveillance, contract administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and standard building practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear, concise reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, GIS mapping tools, and digital documentation platforms.
• Willingness to travel internationally for up to 12 months and work in austere environments.
