Skilled Trades Staffing Co. is hiring a Construction Laborer – Demolition & Site Prep in Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County, FL. This physically‑active role supports demolition, site preparation and cleanup on fast‑paced construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with demolition of structures, walls, flooring and other building components.
- Prepare sites for new construction by clearing debris, grading, and setting up temporary utilities.
- Load, unload, and transport materials using hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as skid‑steer loaders or forklifts.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with crew members, supervisors and subcontractors to meet daily project milestones.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred; no formal construction degree required.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lb repeatedly, stand, bend, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools; experience in landscaping, roofing, or general labor is a plus.
- Reliable attendance, strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary: $31,384.93 (fixed). Competitive benefits may include health coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for overtime.
