Job Summary

Actalent is hiring a Construction Engineer in North Kingstown, Washington County, US. The role oversees all construction activities on site, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure safety, quality, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all construction-related activities at the site.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Leadership to prepare the site for construction phases.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and present status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage subcontractor performance, contracts, and documentation.
• Facilitate site inspections, audits, and punch‑list activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in construction engineering or site management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and CAD tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
