Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with client objectives and federal guidelines.
• Lead media relations, draft press releases, and secure coverage in national and local outlets.
• Manage internal communications, including newsletters, briefings, and executive messaging.
• Oversee crisis communication plans and act as spokesperson during high‑visibility events.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to produce reports, presentations, and multimedia content.
• Track and analyze communication metrics to continuously improve outreach effectiveness.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in government or federal‑contract communications.
• Proven ability to craft clear, persuasive messaging for diverse audiences.
• Strong media network and experience securing coverage in print, broadcast, and digital platforms.
• Excellent writing, editing, and oral presentation skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required.

Compensation

Salary: $78,307.02 per year (fixed).
