About This Position
Job Summary
APR is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager in Yuma, Yuma County, US. This role will manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, develop new business, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow existing commercial lines accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities within the portfolio and present appropriate insurance solutions.
- Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and policy documents in collaboration with underwriters.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend coverage options that meet client needs and company guidelines.
- Negotiate terms, renewals, and endorsements with carriers and clients.
- Track policy expirations, endorsements, and claims to ensure timely service.
- Build a pipeline of prospective commercial clients through networking, referrals, and market research.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and product developments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance sales or account management.
- Strong knowledge of property, casualty, liability, and workers’ compensation products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $71,918.48 annually, plus performance‑based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
