About This Position
Job Summary
RxBenefits is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Consultant to join its Health Services team in Saint Andrews, Charleston County, US. This senior role partners with Business Development, Account Management and Operations to drive clinical excellence, client growth and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Present at consultant client meetings, industry events and virtual webinars on RxBenefits updates, new product developments and best‑practice pharmacy care.
- Provide independent clinical guidance to support sales proposals, contract negotiations and post‑implementation client support.
- Collaborate with Business Development to identify opportunities, develop customized therapeutic strategies and create value‑based proposals.
- Work closely with Account Management to monitor client outcomes, resolve clinical issues and ensure high satisfaction scores.
- Assist Operations in designing and refining service delivery workflows, medication therapy management protocols and compliance programs.
- Stay current with federal and state pharmacy regulations, emerging therapies and health‑care technology trends; disseminate knowledge across internal teams.
- Develop and review clinical documentation, standard operating procedures and educational materials for internal and external audiences.
- Mentor junior pharmacists and serve as a subject‑matter expert for cross‑functional projects.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and active pharmacist license in the United States.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in a consulting, managed‑care or health‑services setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in medication therapy management, formulary management and clinical outcomes measurement.
- Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to convey complex clinical concepts to non‑clinical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of building client relationships and influencing business decisions.
- Excellent analytical abilities, proficiency with electronic health record systems and data‑analytics tools.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with pharmacy benefit management (PBM) platforms or specialty pharmacy services.
- Certification such as Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) or similar.
- History of publishing research, white papers or speaking at professional conferences.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $200,257.88 annually (fixed). Competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off and professional development support.
