Job Summary
RxBenefits is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Consultant to join its Health Services team in Grandview Heights, Franklin County, US. This full‑time role offers a fixed annual salary of $188,295.39 and provides clinical expertise to support business development, account management, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Manager of Clinical Services to develop and implement pharmacy‑focused strategies for client organizations.
- Represent RxBenefits at client meetings, industry conferences, webinars, and other events, delivering updates on therapeutic trends and RxBenefits solutions.
- Provide independent clinical assessments, medication therapy management reviews, and formulary optimization recommendations.
- Partner with Business Development and Account Management teams to identify growth opportunities and enhance client retention through evidence‑based pharmacy services.
- Support operational teams by reviewing prescription workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advising on best practices.
- Develop and deliver educational materials, training sessions, and continuing education webinars for clients and internal staff.
- Analyze client data to generate actionable insights, performance metrics, and cost‑containment strategies.
- Stay current with federal and state pharmacy regulations, clinical guidelines, and emerging therapies.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an ACPE‑accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in the United States.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in managed care or specialty pharmacy settings.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex clinical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, account management, and operations teams.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting utilization data and developing actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and data‑analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, PowerBI).
