Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Manager, Clinical Services and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Act as a clinical partner for Business Development, Account Management, and Operations, delivering independent clinical insights that drive client growth and retention.
- Present at consultant client meetings, industry events, and virtual webinars, sharing updates on pharmacy practice, RxBenefits solutions, and emerging trends.
- Conduct comprehensive medication therapy reviews and provide evidence‑based recommendations to optimize patient outcomes.
- Develop and deliver educational materials, training sessions, and webinars for clients and internal staff.
- Assist in the creation of clinical protocols, formularies, and utilization management strategies.
- Support contract negotiations and service proposals with clinical expertise.
- Monitor and analyze client data to identify opportunities for clinical improvement and cost savings.
- Stay current with regulatory changes, industry standards, and best practices in pharmacy care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and active pharmacist licensure in North Carolina.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in managed care or specialty pharmacy.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to educate diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and influence cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with medication therapy management, formulary development, and utilization review.
