Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a Claims Representative II to work remotely from Five Points, Wake County, US. This role focuses on handling auto liability claims under Ryder’s self‑insured liability program.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage low to mid‑range bodily injury and property damage auto liability claims from intake through resolution.
• Investigate claim facts, gather evidence, and coordinate with medical providers, police, and legal counsel.
• Determine coverage under Ryder’s contracts and ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Communicate claim status and decisions clearly to claimants, insureds, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate claim files in the company’s claims management system.
• Identify opportunities to improve claim handling processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience handling auto liability claims, preferably within a self‑insured environment.
• Strong knowledge of coverage terms, contracts, and relevant state laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with claims software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with commercial auto liability claims.
• Familiarity with Ryder’s internal claim processes and policies.

Compensation

Annual salary: $73,468.62
