Job Summary

Ryder System is hiring a Claims Representative II to work remotely from Archer, Laramie County, US. This role focuses on handling auto liability claims under Ryder’s self‑insured program, delivering excellent customer service and accurate claim resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage low to mid‑range bodily injury and property damage auto liability claims from intake through settlement.
• Interpret coverage terms, policy contracts, and state regulations to determine liability.
• Communicate claim status, gather evidence, and coordinate with claimants, attorneys, and medical providers.
• Prepare detailed claim reports, reserve calculations, and recommendation letters for senior management.
• Identify opportunities for claim cost reduction while maintaining compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with commercial auto claim inquiries when needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience handling auto liability claims, preferably within a self‑insured environment.
• Strong knowledge of coverage language, contract interpretation, and state auto insurance statutes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer‑focused attitude.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commercial auto claim experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $76,052.17 per year (fixed). Comprehensive health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and paid time off.
