Merck is seeking a Chronic Care Specialty Sales Representative to join its team in Wyoming, Kent County, US. This field‑based role focuses on driving patient impact by delivering scientific expertise and sales solutions to healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customers within the assigned territory, building strong relationships with physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare teams.
- Leverage Merck’s scientific and clinical data to educate providers on chronic care therapies and treatment guidelines.
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Integrated Delivery Systems leaders, and other field colleagues to develop and execute territory plans.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and documentation of sales activities.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, preferably in chronic care specialties.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a field‑based environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Compensation
Base salary: $175,543.75 per year (exact figure). Additional performance‑based incentives may apply.
