Job Summary
Merck is seeking a Chronic Care Specialty Sales Representative for its Cammack Village, Pulaski County office. This field‑based role drives patient impact by delivering specialty pharmaceutical solutions across an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary scientific and clinical resource for healthcare providers within the territory.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans in partnership with Account Executives and Integrated Delivery System leaders.
- Identify patient needs, present evidence‑based solutions, and ensure seamless product access.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, samples, and market intelligence in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional field colleagues to align on regional initiatives and training.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in chronic care.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare administrators.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage a defined geographic territory.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
Compensation
Base salary: $209,132.40 annually, plus performance‑based incentives and comprehensive benefits.
