Chief Information Security Officer
About This Position
Purview Infotech is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead cyber‑security initiatives for its US Consumer Banking client in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. This contract role will focus on the Best Egg acquisition integration, handling day‑one legal and ongoing security deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the CISO function for the Best Egg integration project, ensuring alignment with client security standards.
- Conduct comprehensive gap analyses against the client’s security framework and develop remediation plans.
- Design, implement, and oversee day‑one legal cybersecurity controls and ongoing monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (IT, legal, compliance, and business units) to embed security into all phases of the acquisition.
- Provide expert guidance on risk assessment, threat modeling, and incident response.
- Produce clear documentation and reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Mentor junior security staff and promote a culture of security awareness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in cyber‑security leadership, preferably within financial services.
- Proven track record managing security for mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS, and GDPR compliance.
- Hands‑on experience with security tools such as SIEM, DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Location: Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware (3 days onsite). Salary: $124,802.95 per year.
