Charge Integrity Analyst – HIM Revenue Integrity

Job Summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a Charge Integrity Analyst – HIM Revenue Integrity to join our team in Chapel Hill, Orange County, US. This role supports the Charge Master Coordinator in maintaining accurate charge data and ensuring missed charges are captured and billed.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze electronic data files from hospital departments to identify and resolve missed charges.
• Create and maintain daily Excel tracking sheets for charge integrity activities.
• Coordinate rule issues with the CDM vendor, compile and implement new coding rules as needed.
• Collaborate with clinical and financial teams to verify charge accuracy and compliance.
• Generate regular reports on charge integrity performance and present findings to leadership.
• Assist in training staff on CDM processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience with Charge Description Master (CDM) maintenance and revenue cycle processes.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities.
• Knowledge of healthcare coding standards (ICD‑10, CPT) preferred.
