Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and select software suppliers for in‑vehicle systems.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements to achieve target cost structures.
• Maintain supplier performance metrics, conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, legal, cybersecurity, and program management teams to align software sourcing with product development timelines.
• Develop and manage sourcing strategies that support GM’s technology roadmap.
• Prepare and present sourcing reports, cost analyses and risk mitigation plans to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3+ years of procurement experience, preferably in automotive or technology software sourcing.
• Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to manage complex supplier contracts.
• Knowledge of embedded software, connected vehicle technologies and cybersecurity requirements.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with ERP/ procurement tools and MS Office suite.

Compensation

Base salary: $88,781.05 per year.
