About This Position
Job Summary
SereneAid is hiring a Business Intelligence professional to work remotely with occasional travel to New Brunswick. This two‑year contract supports the Provincial Clinical Information Solution Program for the Department of Health.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business requirements for health‑care data reporting.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive BI dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Create and optimise data models, ETL processes, and SQL queries to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with clinicians, data engineers, and IT teams to translate clinical needs into actionable insights.
- Produce clear documentation, data dictionaries, and training materials for end‑users.
- Monitor performance of BI solutions and recommend enhancements.
- Support ad‑hoc data requests and provide actionable recommendations to improve health outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or BI Developer, preferably in a health‑care or government setting.
- Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and strong SQL programming skills.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and relational databases.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and travel to New Brunswick as needed.

- Start date: Approximately May 25, 2026
- Duration: 2 years with optional extensions
- Remote work with required travel to New Brunswick
