About This Position
Business Intelligence (BI) Administrator at COOLSOFT – United States. This role designs, builds and maintains IBM InfoSphere DataStage pipelines for the Medicaid Data Management Platform, ensuring high‑performance reporting and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain IBM DataStage jobs supporting Medicaid/MMIS data flows.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable ETL solutions.
- Monitor job performance, troubleshoot failures, and implement optimizations for speed and reliability.
- Document data pipelines, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards and Medicaid regulations.
- Provide on‑call support for production incidents and participate in root‑cause analysis.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage (or equivalent ETL tools).
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Strong understanding of Medicaid/MMIS data models and healthcare reporting requirements.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts, data profiling and data quality techniques.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and non‑technical teams.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication and documentation skills.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM DataStage, CDMP) are a plus.
Compensation
Annual salary: $79,992.49 (fixed).
