Job Summary
Questel is hiring a Business Development Representative – Trademark in Alexandria, Virginia. This hybrid role (3 days in‑office, 2 days remote) focuses on prospecting, qualifying leads, and delivering insightful reports to support the Inside Sales Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential trademark clients through cold outreach, networking, and inbound lead follow‑up.
- Qualify prospects by assessing needs, budget, and decision‑making authority.
- Schedule and coordinate discovery calls and product demos for senior sales staff.
- Maintain accurate activity records in CRM and ensure pipeline hygiene.
- Produce concise summary reports and market insights for the sales leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging and improve lead quality.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity metrics and qualified‑lead targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related field.
- 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in intellectual property or legal tech.
- Proven track record of meeting lead‑generation quotas.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
