Business Development Manager – Quebec

DSJ Global is seeking a Business Development Manager in Dorval, Montréal to grow air and ocean freight revenue. This role drives new client acquisition and expands relationships across key verticals such as Retail/FMCG, Automotive and Industrial.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities in air and ocean freight services.
• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with existing customers to increase account profitability.
• Create tailored logistics proposals that meet the specific needs of Retail/FMCG, Automotive, Industrial and other target sectors.
• Collaborate with operations, pricing and service teams to ensure seamless execution of contracted solutions.
• Track market trends, competitive activity and emerging opportunities to inform strategic planning.
• Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets (CAD 100,000‑125,000 base salary plus incentives).

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or sales within freight forwarding, logistics or transportation.
• Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight processes, regulations and pricing structures.
• Track record of success selling to Retail/FMCG, Automotive or Industrial customers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Fluency in English; French proficiency is a strong advantage.
