About This Position
McPherson Concrete Companies is hiring a Business Development Manager in Andover, Butler County, US. This full‑time, exempt role will drive sustainable growth for a leading Midwest concrete supplier.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities for concrete pipe, precast products, storage systems, and ready‑mix concrete.
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and municipal officials.
- Create and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with operations, production, and finance teams to ensure project feasibility and profitability.
- Track sales pipelines, forecast revenue, and report performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Represent MCC at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of business development or sales experience in the construction or concrete industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel within the Midwest region as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $75,291.91 annually (fixed). Competitive bonus potential, health insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and professional development support.
