FINCROFT is hiring a Business Analyst – Mortgage Origination Implementation on a 6‑month contract, based in the UK with remote flexibility. The role supports a leading financial services organisation in Somerset as they roll out a new mortgage origination platform for broker channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for the mortgage origination system.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers and broker stakeholders to design optimal solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, process mapping and gap analysis.
• Create functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support testing phases, including UAT coordination and defect resolution.
• Provide training materials and assist end‑users during go‑live.
• Monitor implementation progress and report status to the programme governance team.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in mortgage or broader financial services projects.
• Strong understanding of mortgage origination workflows and broker channel dynamics.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Confluence.

Contract Details & Salary

6‑month contract (outside IR35) with a competitive day rate equivalent to a fixed annual salary of £67,309.32.
