Thimble Alterations is seeking a skilled Bridal Formalwear Seamstress in Chino Hills, San Bernardino County to perform high‑quality alterations on bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom and evening wear.

Key Responsibilities

• Alter bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom and evening wear, including hemming, adding bustles, adjusting bodice/waist, straps, cups, and zippers.
• Work with complex, structured garments featuring multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning, and tulle.
• Conduct client fittings, take precise measurements, and clearly communicate timelines and expectations.
• Deliver flawless finishing details while maintaining an organized, clean workspace suitable for fittings.
• Collaborate with the independent alteration network to share best practices and maintain consistent quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bridal and formalwear alterations with a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in handling delicate fabrics, lace, beading, and structured garments.
• Excellent measurement, fitting, and tailoring skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage client expectations.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
