Key Responsibilities
- Alter bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom and evening wear, including hemming, adding bustles, adjusting bodice/waist, repairing straps, cups, and zippers.
- Work with complex, structured garments featuring multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning, and tulle.
- Conduct client fittings, take precise body measurements, and provide clear timelines for each alteration.
- Maintain high‑quality finishing standards, ensuring seams, hems, and decorative details meet professional expectations.
- Organize and keep the work area tidy, creating a welcoming environment for client fittings.
- Communicate effectively with clients about alteration options, costs, and delivery dates.
