Key Responsibilities
- Record, classify, and verify all financial transactions using the company’s accounting software.
- Maintain general ledger entries and bring the books to trial‑balance each month.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax forms, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Manage office supplies, vendor relationships, and day‑to‑day administrative tasks.
- Coordinate meetings, handle correspondence, and maintain organized filing systems.
- Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or electronics environment.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software; strong Excel skills.
- Knowledge of tax filing requirements and payroll processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong organizational abilities.
