Mercor is seeking a skilled Biologist to work remotely on a contract basis, supporting AI research labs with biology‑focused model evaluation. This part‑time role (20 hours/week) is ideal for experts in molecular biology, bioinformatics, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, author, and review technical tasks that assess AI model performance on biology problems.
• Develop benchmark datasets and evaluation metrics for genomics, protein folding, and cellular simulations.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to integrate biological insights into model training pipelines.
• Document findings, produce clear reports, and present results to internal stakeholders.

Requirements
