Job Summary
Achieving Stars Therapy is hiring a Behavior Technician (RBT) in Rocky Ford, Otero County, US. This full‑time role provides in‑home and community‑based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with developmental disabilities, primarily autism.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA therapy plans under the supervision of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior during each session.
- Assist clients with daily living skills, communication, and social interaction in home, school, and community settings.
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment and follow all health‑and‑safety protocols.
- Communicate observations and data to the supervising BCBA and contribute to ongoing treatment planning.
- Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- High school diploma or GED; additional coursework in psychology, special education, or related field is a plus.
- Passionate about working with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.
- Strong observational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Rocky Ford and surrounding areas.
- Background check and clear of any disqualifying offenses.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $39,520 – $54,080 annually, based on experience and certifications. Benefits include health insurance options, paid time off, and ongoing training.
