Job Summary

Steer is seeking an AVP, Transactions Advisory – Traffic Revenue Forecasting to join its Los Angeles office. This senior role leads revenue forecasting for transportation projects, supporting public and private clients in making data‑driven investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate traffic‑based revenue models for toll, transit, and mobility‑as‑a‑service projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in data collection, demand analysis, and scenario planning.
• Prepare high‑impact presentations and reports for clients, investors, and regulatory agencies.
• Advise on financing structures, risk allocation, and long‑term financial performance.
• Mentor junior analysts and ensure quality standards across all deliverables.
• Stay current on emerging mobility trends, technology, and policy changes that affect revenue streams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in traffic forecasting, revenue modeling, or transactions advisory for transportation infrastructure.
• Proficiency with modeling tools (e.g., VISSIM, Synchro, Excel, Python/R) and financial analysis software.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical results into clear business insights.
• Experience working with public agencies, financial institutions, or private developers.
