Job Summary
Join Lumen as an Attorney, Enterprise Sales in Five Points, Wake County, USA. You will provide legal counsel on complex enterprise sales contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation while supporting Lumen’s AI‑driven growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise sales agreements, service level agreements, and data protection addendums.
- Advise sales and product teams on legal risks, regulatory requirements, and best practices for AI‑related services.
- Collaborate with finance, compliance, and security teams to align contract terms with corporate policies.
- Develop and maintain a repository of standard contract templates and playbooks.
- Conduct training sessions for sales personnel on contract fundamentals and emerging legal issues.
- Monitor legislative changes affecting cloud, AI, and telecommunications services and recommend policy updates.
- Support dispute resolution, escalation handling, and post‑contract compliance audits.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of experience negotiating enterprise technology or telecommunications contracts.
- Strong understanding of AI, data privacy, cybersecurity, and export control regulations.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
Compensation
Base salary: $143,415.44 per year.
