Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on complex enterprise sales contracts, service agreements, and partnership deals.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and compliance teams to draft, negotiate, and close high‑value transactions.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks while ensuring alignment with Lumen’s business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and best‑practice guidelines for the sales organization.
• Support pre‑sale due diligence, including privacy, data security, and export‑control considerations.
• Train sales professionals on legal fundamentals and contract management processes.

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of experience drafting and negotiating enterprise‑level technology or telecommunications contracts.
• Strong understanding of AI, cloud, and network services, including data privacy and security regulations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate legal concepts for non‑legal audiences.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.

Compensation

Base salary: $122,642.12 per year.
