Key Responsibilities

• Review and comment on structured finance documents, escrow agreements, municipal and corporate bond and note documentation.
• Provide suggested revisions to protect Corporate Trust’s interests in all transaction paperwork.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and compliance requirements related to corporate trust transactions.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and external counsel to ensure timely closing of deals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of securities regulations, trust law, and municipal finance statutes.
• Draft memoranda, legal opinions, and briefing materials for senior management.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 2–5 years of experience in corporate trust, structured finance, or municipal bond legal work.
• Strong analytical and drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document‑management tools; experience with e‑discovery platforms a plus.
