About This Position
Join Pegasystems as an Associate Engineer in the Pega Operations Center, working remotely from New Jersey, US. You’ll ensure the availability and reliability of Pegasystems’ cloud services as part of a 24×7 global team.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents affecting cloud service uptime and performance.
- Collaborate with distributed teams in Bangalore, Sydney, and the U.S. East Coast to implement proactive health checks and automation.
- Participate in on‑call rotation, providing rapid response to critical alerts.
- Document root‑cause analyses, create knowledge‑base articles, and suggest continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Assist in capacity planning, scaling strategies, and deployment of patches and upgrades.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in cloud operations, site reliability engineering, or systems engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments, networking, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, New Relic, Grafana) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, effective communication, and ability to work across time zones.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Pega Platform architecture and services.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar.
Compensation
Salary: $130,835.41 per year.
