Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage commercial litigation cases from inception through trial, including pre‑trial motions, discovery, and settlement negotiations.
  • Represent clients in foreclosure, title, and creditors’ rights matters, ensuring compliance with Wisconsin law.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and strategic insight.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and advise clients on risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with senior partners and support staff to develop case tactics and manage deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate case files, billing records, and client communications in the firm’s practice management system.

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in Wisconsin (or eligibility to be admitted).
  • 2–5 years of experience in commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, or related practice areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a high‑volume docket and complex, multi‑party disputes.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with a track record of effective advocacy.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software.
