About This Position
Job Summary
Jobgether is seeking an Architectural Designer to join a partner company in Canada. The role involves turning client visions into detailed, constructible designs for residential and commercial projects while supporting pre‑construction planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Create schematic, design development, and construction‑ready drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure design feasibility.
- Develop coordinated design documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Assist in material selection, cost estimating, and value engineering to meet project budgets.
- Participate in site visits and pre‑construction meetings to verify design intent and resolve on‑site issues.
- Maintain project files and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in architectural design, preferably on mixed‑use residential and commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong visualisation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of Canadian building codes and sustainability standards is a plus.
