Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, and network components.
- Define and evolve standard engineering practices and procedures across the OCI division.
- Collaborate with product managers to suggest and justify product directions within approved strategies.
- Specify, design, and develop software solutions for new projects, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
- Provide consultative guidance to development teams, reviewing code and architecture for quality and performance.
- Lead technical reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture and engineering, preferably with cloud platforms.
- Strong expertise in OCI services, micro‑services architecture, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience with database technologies, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Oracle certifications or prior experience with Oracle Cloud products.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
