Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug high‑performance software components for databases, applications, tools, and network services within OCI.
• Lead the definition and evolution of engineering standards, coding guidelines, and development procedures.
• Collaborate with product managers to suggest and justify roadmap directions while staying within approved strategies.
• Define project scopes, create detailed specifications, and oversee end‑to‑end software delivery.
• Provide consultative expertise to internal teams and external partners, ensuring solutions meet performance, security, and scalability goals.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis of production issues and implement robust fixes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with cloud platforms and Oracle technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or Go, and deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Experience with OCI services, database architectures, and micro‑service design.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects from concept through deployment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Compensation

Salary range: $138,731.38 per year.
