Job Summary
Oracle is hiring an Architect, Agentic Engineering, OCI in Saint Paul, Ramsey County, US. This senior role designs, develops, and troubleshoots software for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, guiding best‑practice standards and product direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug high‑performance software components for databases, applications, tools, and network services within OCI.
- Lead the definition and evolution of engineering standards, coding guidelines, and development procedures.
- Collaborate with product managers to suggest and justify roadmap directions while staying within approved strategies.
- Define project scopes, create detailed specifications, and oversee end‑to‑end software delivery.
- Provide consultative expertise to internal teams and external partners, ensuring solutions meet performance, security, and scalability goals.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in root‑cause analysis of production issues and implement robust fixes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with cloud platforms and Oracle technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or Go, and deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Experience with OCI services, database architectures, and micro‑service design.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects from concept through deployment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Compensation
Salary range: $138,731.38 per year.
