About This Position
Job Summary
Oracle is seeking an experienced Architect, Agentic Engineering, OCI to join its software engineering division in Atlanta, Fulton County, US. This senior role focuses on designing, developing, and debugging high‑performance software for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related database and application services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software programs for databases, applications, tools, and network services within OCI.
- Define and evolve standard engineering practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate with product managers to suggest and justify product directions that align with Oracle’s strategic roadmap.
- Lead the specification, design, and implementation of new projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Provide consultative expertise to internal teams and external partners, guiding best‑practice adoption.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on cloud‑native architectures and OCI.
- Strong proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or Go, and deep understanding of database internals.
- Proven experience designing distributed systems, micro‑services, and high‑availability solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a track record of debugging complex production issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across global, cross‑functional teams.
Compensation
