Job Summary
Aberdeenheli is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Flight Engineer (AME) specialized in the AS350 helicopter, based in Smithers, Bulkley‑Nechako, Canada. This role involves performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and overhauls while ensuring full compliance with Transport Canada regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non‑routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on AS350 helicopters.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues and implement corrective actions.
- Complete all required maintenance documentation accurately and timely, adhering to Transport Canada and Aberdeen Helicopters policies.
- Coordinate with flight crews and operations to schedule maintenance while minimizing aircraft downtime.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licence with a focus on rotor‑craft, approved by Transport Canada.
- Minimum 3 years experience maintaining AS350 or similar light‑utility helicopters.
- Strong knowledge of airframe, power‑plant, and avionics systems.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance orders.
