Job Summary

Join Eliassen Group as an AI Engineer in Glendale, Denver (US). This contract role is fully remote and focuses on building backend services and AI agents that power end‑to‑end business workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services that support AI‑driven business processes.
• Create and deploy retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) systems for enterprise‑wide data lookups.
• Build AI agents capable of executing complex, multi‑step workflows across various business domains.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and UI/UX teams to integrate AI solutions into user‑facing applications.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of AI services in cloud environments.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and conduct code reviews following best engineering practices.
• Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve model latency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing AI/ML solutions in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with retrieval‑augmented generation, vector databases, and LLM integration.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with RESTful API design, micro‑services architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
