Job Summary

Join Eliassen Group as an AI Engineer in Five Points, Wake County, US. This remote contract role focuses on building backend services and AI agents to automate end‑to‑end business workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI‑driven backend services.
• Create retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) systems for enterprise data lookups.
• Build and deploy AI agents that execute complete business processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to define AI requirements.
• Implement scalable, secure APIs and micro‑services architecture.
• Monitor model performance, conduct troubleshooting, and iterate improvements.
• Document technical designs, code standards, and deployment procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing AI/ML solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval‑augmented generation techniques.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate).
