Accounts Payable Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile vendor invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders in compliance with internal controls.
• Maintain the accounts payable ledger, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year‑end reports for the Senior Accountant and finance leadership.
• Assist with audit preparation, providing documentation and supporting schedules as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 2+ years of hands‑on accounts payable experience, preferably in a nonprofit or health‑care environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
