Accounts Payable Specialist

Terex Limited is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a 9‑12 month full‑time contract in Craigavon, Northern Ireland. The role supports the Global Business Services (GBS) shared service centre, handling end‑to‑end invoice processing and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Process incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding and timely payment.
• Maintain and reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to accounts payable.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities for the GBS finance team.
• Assist with audit inquiries and provide documentation as required.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the UK, Europe and global Terex entities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Relevant accounting qualification or progress towards one is a plus.
